Charles Darwin University Profile

Charles Darwin University (CDU) is an award winning, comprehensive, public, dual-sector university, offering an extensive range of courses and programs from vocational education and training (VET) certificates and diplomas, to higher education bachelors, masters and PhDs. In conjunction with ACL Darwin English Centre, we offer a full range of English language programs. CDU programs are fully accredited quality programs with international recognition.

The main campus of CDU is located in Darwin, Northern Territory, a tropical capital city with regional advantages, exotic flora and fauna, dramatic landscapes of the tropics and desert and first hand experience of an ancient and rich Aboriginal culture.

CDU research and teaching strengths take advantage of our unique geographic and demographic features, which include Desert Knowledge, Tropical Knowledge and Indigenous Knowledge.

Individual attention, smaller class sizes, flexible study pathways, challenging education concepts and unique learning options characterise teaching and learning at CDU.
